It's a beautiful city, try to visit it at least for a day!
Athens Tour Plan
First Day (29 September 2014)
11.30am: Arrive at Athens Airport, clear customs
12.00pm or 12.30pm: Take Metro M3 towards ΑΕΡΟΔΡΟΜΙΟ - ΔΟΥΚ. ΠΛΑΚΕΝΤΙΑΣ - ΑΓΙΑ ΜΑΡΙΝΑ and get off at ΣΤ.ΣΥΝΤΑΓΜΑΤΟΣ (Syntagma Square)
1.00pm-1.30pm: Check in at N.J.V Athens Plaza
1.30pm-2pm: Lunch at Hip Cafe near Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens or a quick lunch
2pm-4pm: Walk in Syntagma Square and Plaka Area, walk to Agora Entrance, follow (partially) Athens City Walk tour (p.14, Rick Steves)
4pm-7.30pm: Visit Agora and the Acropolis, buy tickets at the Agora entrance (12 euro)
8-9.30pm: Dinner at Taverna Tou Psirri (Call 210-321-4923 to make a reservation)
OR at Lithos (Reservation confirmed for 8pm)
9.30pm-11pm: Have coffee at Chocolat Cafe, Walk around Psirri and Plaka, come back to Syntagma Square
11pm-12am: Go up to the roof of Hotel Grande Bretagne for drinks
Second Day (30 September 2014)
8am-10am: Wake Up, breakfast at the hotel
10am: Check out and walk to ΣΤ.ΣΥΝΤΑΓΜΑΤΟΣ (Syntagma Square),
